As Ramadan comes to an end, the Muslim Community in Hong Kong prepares for Eid Al Fitr, a time of celebration and reflection. The Board of Trustees has announced key details regarding the moon sighting committee, prayer timings, and masjid schedules to ensure everyone can join in the festivities. The prayer timetable has been attached in the article.



The Board of Trustees have released the following statement:

Members of the Muslim Community in Hong Kong are hereby informed that the moon sighting committee organized by the Board of Trustees will meet on Sunday, 30 March 2025 (29th of Ramadan). If the Moon of Shawwal is sighted, Eid-ul-Fitr prayer will be performed on Monday, 31 March 2025; otherwise, it will be performed on Tuesday, 1 April 2025. The Board of Trustees mentioned this to ensure everyone is informed in a timely manner.

Additionally, the Board of Trustees has released the prayer timetables for Eid Al Fitr at all five masjids in Hong Kong:
