As Ramadan comes to an end, the Muslim community in Hong Kong prepares for Eid Al-Fitr, a time of celebration and reflection. The Board of Trustees has announced key details regarding the moon sighting committee, prayer timings, and masjid schedules to ensure everyone can join in the festivities. The prayer timetable has been attached in the article.

The Board of Trustees have released the following statement:

Members of the Muslim Community in Hong Kong are hereby informed that the moon sighting committee organized by BOT will meet on Thursday, 19th March 2026 (29th of Ramadan). If the moon of Shawwal is sighted, the Eid al-Fitr prayer will be performed on Friday, 20th March 2026; otherwise it will be performed on Saturday, 21st March 2026.
